Azimuth, Elevation and Skew Angles

To determine if you have a clear line-of-sight to the DISH Network satellites, and to point/peak your satellite dish on these satellites, you will need the azimuth and elevation angles. To Determine your azimuth, elelvation, and skew angles, simply type in your zip code.

Azimuth (direction), elevation (angle up), and skew (dish rotation) angles for the satellites orbiting at 110° / 119° West Longitude may not be available via the Point DISH and Signal Strength menu.

First Enter your zip code. Then, use the azimuth (AZ), elevation (EL), and skew (SK) angles for your ZIP code or range of ZIP codes to find the satellites. The azimuth angle has already been corrected for magnetic deviation, so you can use this number on a compass. The azimuth angles, elevation angles, and skew angles provided in the table are in degrees.
